I can't ride the subway without this anymore. Now if I could only figure out where to go when I get off to transfer or exit the subway. A diagram of each of the stations would help a lot.

I recently wrote a 1-star review. I now retract that review. The software people fixed the times. The transfers times of the station you arrive at are good but there is no way to get a general estimate of the you will actually arrive unless you break up the tranfers. There are a couple of express trains in the Seoul subway system and unfortunately the times are not highlighted/posted in the system. Overall the product is good and I would recommend to buy it the saved/previous routes are good to have for quick reference.

Very intuitive Application. I loved being able to plan subway routes before we left and bookmark them for easy access on the go. The stops and transfers were correct. We went from Itaewon down to Seoul Grand Park and then hit a couple of markets all in one day and we never got lost or confused on the subways. Thanks

From the start map you can search from start to end. Providing station detail information, train arrival time, frequency of train, end destination. Oh so great. Well worth the work involved for this app. I travel throughout and used many different subway systems. Vancouver, LA, Tokyo, this by far is tops in all information needed.

Version 1.0 - Jan 5, 2010

It's easy to use, up to date and well worth the money. I used it all the time when I was visiting Seoul.

I am currently in Seoul vacationing and this app has been indispensable. I figured out the subway routes from Incheon airport to my hotel in the Dongdaemun area and plotted out and saved all the routes to my tourist destinations for the upcoming week. I can quickly refer to any routes because the data is saved locally and I can plot routes on the fly with the simple and effective interface. No data connection is needed ( I have a US based iPhone with no cell service in Korea).

With additional updates (mainly having a built in search box at the main map screen) this app will only get better.

A big kudos and thank you to the developers or this wonderful app. My travels have been so much easier because of it. This is the BEST metro app for Seoul, it is money well spent.

In the week since the iPhone hit the streets of Seoul, I've already tried a few different Seoul metro navigation apps. This is the best one I've used so far. The map is up to date and easy to navigate. Right now you can find out what you need to know to get around the city: route information, travel times, and transfer points. Station names appear in Roman letters in a large, readable font. With this app, a newly arrived wayguk-in should be able to get from Oido to Yeoido without too much drama.

While the information given is good, this app has a lot of potential for future enhancements. Future updates could give the times of the first and last trains from each station and maps of stations and the surrounding areas, including major landmarks and their corresponding exit numbers, just to name two.
